Back-at-it-again,

And this time we are at one of my favorite places in Haiti, endeyo! I am getting a chance to visit the incredible fertile farming plains of Savane Perdue located in the central plateau of Haiti. What’s so cool about this place is its underwater for 3 – 6 months each year as the two rivers, Artibonite and Onde Verd, fill due to seasonal rainfall. We go on tour with special returning guest Regine Theodat, and we learn about Vincentian Family Haiti Farm Initiative (VFHI). She’s been working with this organization to help empower local farmers, improve yields, and soon-to-be ecolodge that will take tourists to an immersive countryside experience.

You definitely want to want to watch this episode!
